The story

It started with a Jack Russell × Yorkshire Terrier cross called Woody

Like a lot of dog owners, we spent far too many weekends searching different websites, scrolling reviews and phoning ahead to ask if dogs were welcome — and still arriving at places to find limited access, awkward rules or confused looks at the door.

After one too many wasted journeys with Woody in the boot of the car, we decided to build the thing we kept wishing existed.

"If we had to spend hours planning every walk, lunch or weekend, every other dog owner in the UK was doing the same. There had to be a better way."

So we built Doggy Days Out — a single place to discover trusted dog-friendly venues across the UK, paired with an AI planner named after the dog who started it all.
