THE RULE THAT CATCHES PEOPLE OUT, so take it first: a dog may NEVER BE LEFT UNATTENDED at a Travelodge - not in the room, not anywhere on the premises, at any time - and there is no Travelodge dog-sitting or kennel service to fall back on. If your plan involved booking dinner somewhere and leaving the dog in the room, this chain will not work for you and a cottage with a secure garden will. Everything else is refreshingly plain. EVERY UK TRAVELODGE TAKES DOGS - all rooms, standard and SuperRooms alike, with no pet floor and NO BREED OR SIZE RESTRICTION of any kind. The fee is 25 POUNDS PER PET PER STAY, and per stay is the point: a seven-night tour stopping at a different Travelodge each night costs 25 pounds a dog per stop, not per night. It rose from 20 pounds in 2026. TWO PETS MAXIMUM per room, so 50 pounds is the most one room can be charged; a third dog needs a second room. Add the pet at the EXTRAS step when you book. Dogs are excluded from the bar and restaurant areas, and where there is a breakfast bar it is not pet-accessible - so plan on a takeaway breakfast. Guide, assistance and hearing dogs are exempt from the fee. This is the chain policy rather than a note about this particular branch, so confirm anything unusual when you book.
