Milo Lounge is a cafe bar on Lark Lane in Liverpool, near Sefton Park, with outdoor seating at the front. Inside are green patterned walls, mismatched vintage furniture, a long red bar and a snug, and it serves coffee, brunch and seasonal dishes with vegan and gluten-free options, plus cocktails, events and book clubs.
Loungers welcome dogs across their sites, in their own words: "we love welcoming dogs of all shapes and sizes in our Lounges". THE ONE EXCEPTION IS A LOUNGE INSIDE A SHOPPING CENTRE, where the centre sets its own rules - so if this one sits in a mall rather than on a street, ring first. There is a published CANINE CODE: keep dogs on a SHORT LEAD, NO PAWS ON THE FURNITURE, and be considerate of other customers. Admission is finally at the manager's discretion, which in practice means a badly behaved dog can be asked to leave.
