Blickling Estate near Aylsham is a National Trust property with a mansion, gardens and a large park in the Bure Meadows. Visitors can use two cafes, a shop, the largest second-hand bookshop run by the Trust, cycle hire and a multi-use trail through the parkland. There are four car parks, and the Bucks Arms, a 17th-century former coaching inn not run by the Trust, stands on the walk to the house.
Dogs may be off lead in the parkland, woodland and on rights of way across the wider estate if they are reliable on recall, but must be on a lead in the car parks, on the front drive, on the lake walk, and anywhere there is livestock. Assistance dogs only in the house, the garden, the east wing shop, the Stables cafe, the Loft and the RAF Oulton Museum. Dogs on short leads are welcome in the farmyard, the bookshop, the estate barn and Muddy Boots cafe, and the welcome team in the barn will lend you a lead.
