One of Europe and Scotland most important and impressive formal gardens, dating back to the 17th century and terraced in the 19th. Replanted in the 1950s, it preserves many original features including the ancient yew hedges and a beech planted by Queen Victoria to commemorate her 1842 visit. The gardens have featured in Rob Roy and Outlander; the castle itself remains closed to the public.
Its own drummondcastlegardens.co.uk visitor information page says the gardens are dog friendly, with dogs kept on a lead at all times.
