Castle Campbell stands high above Dollar Glen in Clackmannanshire, on a narrow ridge between the Burn of Care and the Burn of Sorrow in the Ochil Hills. One of Scotland's best-preserved 15th-century tower houses, it belonged to the Campbell earls of Argyll and has an unusual loggia, terraced gardens and John Knox's pulpit.
Historic Environment Scotland list "Dogs welcome in outdoor areas" in the facilities on this site's own page. Their site-wide rule adds that dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, must not be left unattended, and that owners must pick up after them. Assistance dogs are permitted everywhere including roofed areas.
