Leith Hall at Kennethmont, near Huntly, was home to ten generations of the Leith-Hay family from 1650 and keeps their furnishings, art and a military exhibition, seen by guided or self-guided tour. The grounds include an Edwardian garden with herbaceous borders, a moon gate, a rock garden and three waymarked trails.
The National Trust for Scotland welcome dogs at many of their places, but this is a GROUNDS-ONLY welcome and the exclusions are broad. WHERE THERE IS LIVESTOCK dogs must be on a SHORT LEAD or under close control, and the Scottish Outdoor Access Code applies. Clean up after them.
