Bunhill Fields is a Nonconformist burial ground in Islington, just north of the City, established in the 1660s and managed by the City of London Corporation. About 123,000 burials took place here, and more than 2,300 memorials stand across five enclosed areas beside a public garden. Those buried here include John Bunyan, Daniel Defoe, William Blake and Isaac Watts.
