Carew Castle stands beside a millpond in the village of Carew near Tenby and is run by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority. The ruins span the Norman period to Sir John Perrot's Elizabethan north range, and the neighbouring mill is the only restored tidal mill in Wales. The site has the Nest Tearoom and hosts events and open-air theatre.
Its own pembrokeshirecoast.wales Carew Castle about page says well-behaved dogs are welcome everywhere on site on a short lead.
