A Marston's pub restaurant in a traditional canalside building at Hopwood, on the southern outskirts of Birmingham. It has a beer garden with views of the canal and fields, a light conservatory, a children's play area and a car park, and serves pub classics, homemade kebabs and house and guest cask ales.
This pub's own website says: "You are welcome to rest your paws with us when you come off the beaten path, as we gladly allow dogs in our bar and beer garden", adding "we let sleeping dogs lie - under your bar table, next to your feet, on the patio". So the bar and the garden rather than the dining rooms - if you are booking a table for a meal with a dog, ask for one in the bar. Water bowls and treats are advertised. Checked September 2026.
