YourVets Sheldon

Part of CVS, one of the larger veterinary groups in the UK - these practices trade under local names rather than the group's, so the branding on the door may not say CVS. WHAT IS WORTH KNOWING WHEN YOU ARE CHOOSING: many CVS practices have SEPARATE WAITING AREAS FOR DOGS AND CATS, which makes a real difference to a dog that winds up in a waiting room, though not every practice has the space for it - worth ringing to ask if yours is reactive. They run the HEALTHY PET CLUB, a monthly plan covering annual boosters, kennel cough vaccination, microchipping and parasite treatment, which is usually cheaper than paying for each separately. OUT OF HOURS is covered 24/7 through affiliated emergency networks including MiNightVet, so there is a route to care overnight and at weekends.
